Human body can be entertained by many benefits of a colon cleanse with simple effort. Colon cleansing can offer a positive boost for your overall health and liveliness. Although several colon cleanse products are available, oxygenating cleansers are considered the best way to both cleanse out garbage and help your digestive system maintain its truthfulness.

Need of Colon Cleansing

Whether you’re experiencing poor in health or simply want to proactively work towards superior health, several reasons suggest why you should consider the digestive system as integral for overall health. It’s a fact that the digestive system is the primary component of your immune system as it filters harmful toxins and chemicals from whatsoever you devour.

We exactly are what we eat. Most people find they cannot stick on to strict dietary guidelines all the time, so it’s common sense that a little damage control might be occasionally required. Everything you drink and eat passes through your digestive system and if your system is not clean, destructive foods can create a toxic gut that could ultimately turn against you.

Our digestive systems often become clogged up with fecal matter. Because of the poor foods we eat and our hectic lifestyles, our digestive systems can become sluggish. We can become constipated very easily due to the lack of raw vegetables and the abundance of excessive nitrates, preservatives, and fat content of the typical American diet. Even those individuals who try to eat healthful foods can find their systems becoming debilitated with organic garbage.

Remarkable outcome from colon cleanse

Keeping things working in a good fashion in your stomach and colon can profit you a lot in several ways. A relatively clean digestive system can improve your quality of life today as well as reduce your chances of disease later. Benefits of a colon cleanse for your overall health comprise of:

Enhanced tolerance to food.

Diminished constipation and bowel problems.

Superior vitamin and nutrient absorption.

Augmented energy level.

Beneficial weight loss.

Relief from backaches.

Clear complexion.

Lessen bloating.

Decreased halitosis

More relaxed, easier bowel movements.

Decline in headache.

The remuneration of colon cleansing are so enormous that many people claim they feel like a new person afterwards. Feeling vigorous and “full-of-life” are some of the reported results of colon cleansing.

The colon of the large intestine might just be the most misinterpret part of the human body while, all together, being one of the most essential parts of it. Consuming a lot of unhealthy foods can affect the colon negatively and you may not recognize it by yourself but it might be time for you to decide on for a colon cleansing diet.

There are many grounds for colon problems and you should choose your colon cleanse diet with special care. To highlight what an important part the colon plays in our health, doctors have coined the terrifyingly proper idiom that “death begins in colon” to remind many people and almost 50% of the Americans suffering from digestive problems and bowel disarrays about the serious consequences of neglecting your colon health.

The colon is the largest section of the large intestine and it is about 3 inches wide and roughly around 6 feet long. Once food has been digested in the small intestine, the remainder comes along to the large intestine and the colon helps in absorbing water and the last traces of nutrients while facilitating waste formation and its movement out of the body.

The colon can maintain itself so long as the person’s dietary intake contains enough water, fiber, vegetables and fruits. When you consume more food which is processed, has high quantities of fat and doesn’t have sufficient water and fiber, traces of these foods can adhere to the walls of the colon. As such waste collects and hardens, it will reduce the width of the colon, making it that much more difficult to get waste matter to move along, resulting in constipation. This also results in a less area of the colon being available for nutrient absorption, and as a result the chances of toxins from the built up waste entering your bloodstream are augmented.

This sort of an unhygienic and polluted deposition in the colon can lead to bacterial, parasitic infections or yeast of the colon which will give rise to more health problems. Cleaning out waste matter from your colon is therefore, one of the most important facets of maintaining a healthy standard of living.

Lots of people around the world, comprehending this, have taken to colon cleansing to remove accumulated fecal matter from the walls of the colon. You could adopt a variety of therapies and methods to effect this. There are home remedy options as well as clinical procedures or you could make use of scientifically recommended allopathic or natural pills or capsules. But your diet while undergoing such treatment can play a decisive role in the effectiveness of your colon cleansing plan.

Quite minimal screening tests can avoid colon cancer or rectal cancer. Screening tests look for a certain disease or condition before any symptoms appear. Regular screening is recommended after age 45 for people who have a high risk of colorectal cancer and beginning at age 50 for everyone else.

Fewer than half of people who are older than 50 are screened for colorectal cancer. According to the American cancer society, if everyone were tested, tens of thousands of lives can be rescued every year.

The following procedure are for people who do not have an increased risk for colorectal cancer:

Colorectal screening guidelines and test frequency.

Fecal occult blood test should be performed every year.

Sigmoidoscopy should be performed in every 5 years.

Barium enema should be executed in every 5 years.

Colonoscopy in every 10-13 years.

You will need to begin routine screening earlier than crossing 50’s and have it more often if you have a higher risk for colorectal cancer.

Virtual colonoscopy also known as computed tomographic, colonography or CT colonography. It utilizes X-rays and a computer to take pictures of the inside of your colon. It may be used as a screening test for people who do not have an increased risk for colon cancer. For people who have increased risk, regular colonoscopy may be better because it allows your doctor to remove polyps and take tissue samples during the screening procedure.

Bacteria in our colon are referred to by many distinctive names – Probiotics, good or bad bacteria, useful bacteria, acidophilus, dysbiosis, micro flora, friendly flora, and unfriendly bacteria.

Here it is only referred to good and bad bacteria to refer to all the bacteria that exist in the our colon.

Human colon has both good and bad bacteria. The good bacteria maintain the health of your colon by keeping the bad bacteria from multiplying and reducing constipation. Most people have bad bacteria as the dominant condition in their colon. You can see this by the illnesses that exist throughout the universe. Most people later in their life suffer from diseases that resulted from colon neglect and abuse like the worst colon cancer.

Bad bacteria turns in abundance only when you:

Munch poisons such as unknowingly pesticides in food, pollution, food additives such as preservatives, coloring etc.

Drink alcohol.

Eat processed foods.

Have overload of anxiety.

Inadequate of fiber.

Use birth control pills.

Use laxative.

Beneficial and good bacteria in your colon consists of hundred of species of bacteria. The good bacteria are most active in a pH of 5.9 to 6.9- an acidic environment. This makes for a healthy colon.

Your colon serves as a home for the good bacteria, which ferment specific carbohydrates, which in turn keep your colon environment slightly acidic. The acid environment favors the good bacteria and keeps the bad bacteria and pathogens from multiplying.

The bad bacteria create an alkaline atmosphere and are most active in a pH of 7.1 to 7.9. Again, the good bacteria creates an acidic environment and are most active in a pH of 5.9 to 6.9

Acidophilus and Bifidus are the chief good bacteria that exist in our colon. The ascending colon, on the right side of your abdomen area, has the most bacteria. The quantity of bacteria becomes less in the transverse colon and lesser in the descending colon. Eventually, little bacteria is found in the sigmoid and rectum. When good beneficial bacteria is dominant, in your colon, it prevents the spread of disease from various organisms.

The good bacteria keep the unfavorable organisms in the minority, thus preventing them from multiplying, getting into the blood, and into the different body organs. They do this by their antibiotic like secretions, lactic acid production, and other secretions, which keep their environment acidic.

In our stomach and bowel, acidophilus resides naturally. It is actually a strain of bacteria and the best part is that is very beneficial for our digestive system. Despite its lineage, it can be helpful in a number of healthful situation, most of them involving digestion and bowel function. When the body fights germs they are usually expelled through the bowels and urinary tract, therefore making it a necessity at that time to have a good conditioned intestinal tract.

According to the colon care experts, a healthy colon should contain at least 80-85 percent lactobacillus and 15 percent coliform bacteria. However now a days, the typical colon bacteria count is the reverse, resulting in bloating, excessive gas, intestinal and systemic toxicity, constipation, and malabsorption of nutrients.

Acidophilus detoxifies dangerous substances:

Regrettably, these bacteria can be slaughtered by age, oral contraceptives, poor diet, corticosteroids, stress, sugar and by consuming antibiotics, causing an imbalance of beneficial and friendly bacteria. Supplementing with acidophilus can result in reversing that condition and maintain a healthy intestinal flora.

These beneficial bacteria helps to digest food, manufacture essential vitamins and help keep bowel function normal. Acidophilus supports and maintains the growth of the Lactobacillus bifidus in the intestinal tract. Studies have illustrated that Lactobacillus can augment immunity, and hints that other strains of probiotic may deter arthritis, delay colon cancer and lower bad cholesterol.

Due to our fatty food diets, now so prevalent, along with the over-the-counter drugs and prescriptions given freely, the intestinal tract in the majority of Americans are lacking in proper friendly bacteria to promote a healthy colon. Therefore we have a huge number of colon cancer, polyps and Irritable Bowel Syndrome’s running around and the majority can be prevented with practicing colon health by making sure your intestinal tract has a balanced friendly bacteria.

Balance by taking a full probiotic supplement at least 2-3 days a week if not having any health problem. But if a health problem exists take daily until you return to normal eating habits.

There are number of reason as to why constipation triggers and it is very common in human society. Some of the reasons as to what causes constipation links to food or the kind of daily life a person is pursuing. Even though constipation is not very dangerous but it can certainly lead to obstruction in daily life. For some people it takes the enjoyment out of life and for those who suffer with it long term it may be the underlying factor for a number of other diseases.

In this info content a few reasons as to what causes constipation are mentioned:

1. The first reason is not taking adequate fiber in diet. Fibers work as a cleansing agent in a persons digestive system and will also help to make sure that the person’s bowel is working appropriately.

2. Another major ground is not drinking enough fluids. A reduction in fluid intake will cause a person’s stools to become harder and thus make bowel movements more difficult. So by increasing fluid intake levels you will be helping to make your stools softer and this will make them easier to expel from the body.

3. Look at what medication you are taking. There are some medicines which are also found to instigate constipation. Read the instruction of the meds in order to be prepared for the condition.

4. Those people who are on a diet will stopping eating hard foods and this results in a decrease in the amount of fiber they have.

5. Pregnant women will often suffer from constipation because of hormonal changes in their bodies.

6. People suffering from a long term illness are at a higher risk of triggering constipation.

7. If you like tea and coffee and are beginning to suffer from constipation then it may be wise to lessen them. Although tea and coffee are liquids they actually increase the amount of liquid that appears in your urine and so less fluid is left in your colon which helps to produce fecal matter.

8. The final cause of constipation may be because you are suffering from some form of syndrome such as irritable bowel syndrome and you will need to speak to your doctor on how to treat the constipation.

The blood color or in which manner the blood is found in the stool gives us the substantial evidence about the cause of the bleeding.

If the stool seems to black or tar stools, we know this blood was exposed to stomach acid and turned black due to the fermentation process. The most common reason for black stools or tar stool or in scientific term melena is stomach ulcers. These can bleed profoundly. In cases of severe bleeding the blood passes by the stomach very fast and the blood remains red and appears red in the pot.

In most cases when you find red blood in the stool, the bleeding is from the colon or large bowel. We often straight away assume it as cancer, but blood in the stool can have many other reasons such as polyps, which are benign mushroom-like growths inside the colon, or diverticel, which are small hernia in the bowel.

Bleeding can also come from an infectious process where the colon inlining is irritated and can bleed which in most cases is associated with diarrhea. In most of the cases the stool and blood are mixed or blood comes at the same time as stool into the toilet commode.

Many patients say that they have a a small quantity of red blood on top of the stool or they see it when they clean themselves and notice blood on the toilet paper. The most common reason of this sort of bleeding is hemorrhoids found in the anal and inner part of the rectum. Patients often report more bleeding when they are constipated and they have to strived hard or have had diarrhea and had to go often and rubbed too much.

When you notice blood in the stool or toilet commode try to describe it as well as you can, such as how much blood on top of stool, presence of black stools, or only on toilet paper, every time with fecal matter or only occasionally. Of course persistent blood in the rectum needs to be evaluated by a physician with a rectal examination and may be by a colonoscopy.

All the way through history people have survived well when the diet were comprised of fruits and vegetables. Science has now proven without any doubt that there is a connection between the fruits and vegetables and your health.

There is evidence of a correlation between consuming fruits and vegetables and reducing gastric and colon cancer. All fruits and vegetables contain fiber which is useful in preventing colon cancer. The dietary fiber is also fermented by bacteria in the colon that lead to short chained fatty acids which guard against cancer causing substances. Tomatoes may shield against esophageal cancer and prostate cancer and carrots against cancer in the mouth.

The reason fruits and vegetables are protective against cancer is because they contain antioxidants, raise activity of enzymes that detoxify cancer causing substances, altering estrogen metabolism and altering the bacteria and pH in the colon.

For example, garlic, onions, scallions and allium vegetables are rich in sulfur compounds which augment enzymes to inhibit bacteria that convert nitrates to nitrites in the stomach, and nitrites can combine with amines to form nitrosamines which can cause cancer of the stomach. Cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage have a high content of organic sulfur which can stimulate enzymes in the gut to detoxify cancer causing substances.

These vegetables also contain indole-3-carbinol which affects estrogen metabolism and shield against endometrial and breast cancer. Green vegetables such as spinach, lettuce and mustard greens have high levels of antioxidants which block damage from free radicals within a cell. Green leafy vegetables also contain high levels of folic acid which can defend against colon cancer.

Fruits and vegetables, like red peppers, tomatoes and raspberries, are rich in lycopene which act as antioxidants and have revealed to protect against prostate cancer. Citrus fruits are rich in vitamin C – again acting as antioxidants and also preventing the formation of nitrosamines. Yellow fruits and vegetables are rich in beta carotene which is also an antioxidant and can be metabolized to vitamin A which facilitates to maintain healthy cells.

Nearly 106,200 Americans will be diagnosed with colon cancer this year and near about 47,200 will die from colon cancer.

60 to 70 million U.S. people are at risk of developing colon cancer.

If you are getting screened you can in almost all cases effectively prevent colon cancer.

When colon cancer is detected and treated before time, the survival rate is much high.

Colon cancer is a type of disease that does not develop in one night or within a few days. It takes years for colon cancer to capture a person. Habitually it starts in the form of polyps, benign normal growth within the colon. It takes many genetic alterations or mistakes for this polyp to turn into cancer.

Not all polyps are at risk to become cancer therefore it is critical to know the histology of the polyps removed. For examples hyperplastic polyps don’t increase your risk of cancer. This may be determined when you have to repeat your colonoscopy. Because of the slow process of cancer development, you can successfully prevent the cancer from developing by removing the polyp.

Luckily in the recent research it was established that folic acid can accelerate growth of polyps and should not be given. Folic acid was thought to prevent colon cancer, but more recent data shows that patients who have polyps or have cancer do worse with folic acids.

It is not 100% sure that colon cancer is the most preventable cancer of all because of this precancerous lesion we call a polyp. There are exceptions, for example if someone has a genetic predisposition this does not apply and cancer can develop within one year and these patients need a more extensive surgery and very close screening colonoscopies. Please make sure that all of your family members are screened at a respective age. If there are any family members diagnosed with colon cancer you may want to discuss with your gastroenterologist about having a colonoscopy earlier.
